About Me

Bringing the Game to Life, One Call at a Time

Hi, I’m Will Conerly, and I’ve been hooked on the magic of play-by-play broadcasting since the first time I put on a headset. For me, it’s not just about calling the action—it’s about capturing the energy, the moments that make sports unforgettable, and sharing them with fans in a way that brings them right into the game.

Over the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of calling college football, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and softball on TV, radio, and digital platforms. Whether it's a walk-off home run, a game-winning touchdown, or a buzzer-beater, I thrive on delivering the story as it unfolds.

Originally from the Midwest, my journey started at Quincy University, where I earned a Sports Management degree and an MBA while honing my craft as the "Voice of the Hawks" for WGEM Radio. Since then, I’ve been behind the mic for TCU, Tarleton State, LA Tech, the Cape Cod Baseball League, MSHSAA/IHSA State Championships, and more.

Since moving to Dallas-Fort Worth in 2024, I’ve been fortunate to work with ESPN+, Champion Sports Radio, Dave Campbell’s Texan Live, and tr3dio, while also stepping into a role as a part-time Sports Anchor at KTCK ‘The Ticket.’
Beyond play-by-play, I’ve worked as a spotter/statistician for NFL & UFL broadcasts, a public address announcer, and co-run D2baseball.com, where I help shine a spotlight on Division 2 baseball.

One of the biggest highlights of my career? Hosting MLB Hall of Fame interviews at the 2024 MLB All-Star Weekend in Arlington, sharing stories from some of the greatest to ever play the game.

Play-by-play is what I love, and I’m always looking for my next opportunity behind the mic. If you're looking for a passionate, experienced, and engaging broadcaster, let’s connect!
